Did you know what each Sunday, there are individuals who walk the halls (or sit in a comfortable chair) of Calvary during the three services? These “Prayer Walkers” walk throughout our facility praying for the pastors, Calvary leadership, Sunday School teachers, nursery workers and those in the worship services. They pray for wisdom and blessing and that the Holy Spirit would guide all of us gathered at Calvary on Sunday morning. They also pray for those that can’t be with us and that they would return to us soon.
Prayer is a power tool and those that have been Prayer Walkers in the past have found the experience to be rewarding and a great time to connect with God. One individual is needed during each service and couples may want to walk together. If you feel God calling you to serve at Calvary by being a Prayer Walker for one hour on Sunday morning, or if you just want more information, contact Nancy Davis (309-662-9506, MNDAVIS7@msn.com)
