Feeling stressed out by the world you live in? Do you feel like you have more things to do than time to do it? You are in good company! Some people are calling stress the primary disease of the twenty first century. Many of us feel that we have no choice other than to feel stressed by the world today.
Fortunately, while all of us deal with stressful issues, the great news is that much of the stress we feel is not something done to us by someone or something. In fact, for many of us, stress is our own response to immediate situations we face or results from patterns of behavior we have established early in our pasts.
On Wednesday, November 14, Calvary will host a Stress Management Workshop. Ron Cordes, a longtime counselor and social worker, will lead this special event. Come prepared to gather ideas to make your holidays more fun-filled and meaningful both for you and for those you love. The Stress Management Workshop will begin at 6:30 pm in Room 107.
Pre-registration is preferred, but no required. To sign-up, contact the Church Office (309-452-5413, calvary(at)cumcnormal.org).
