Door Openers - Door Openers are stationed outside the main entry to Calvary. They hold the door open for attendees and provide curb-side assistance when needed.
Greeters - These are the friendly faces you see when first entering the Atrium. Greeters help members, regular attenders, and visitors feel welcome from the first foot in the door.
Welcome Center Hosts - The Welcome Center at Calvary is our central nerve on Sunday mornings. The hosts answer telephones and provide information to those that come for assistance.
Guides - Guides are stationed at the Welcome Center to provide those needing help find their way a personal escort. They are also well aquatinted with the building.
Coffee Servers - These are people responsible for giving us all an added "wake up" on Sunday mornings. They staff the Coffee Kitchen by arriving early to prepare the complementary beverages, including coffee. They also keep the Atrium fully stocked in doughnuts.
Ushers - Ushers perform many tasks that help the worship services run smoothly. Ushers welcome people as they enter the Worship Center, they hand out bulletins and activity packets for children. Ushers also collect the offering and prayer cards during the worship services each Sunday.
Communion Stewards and Servers - These volunteers prepare communion elements before worship and also help serve them.
Liturgists - Liturgists on Sundays assist the pastors in leading our 8:00 and 9:30 am worship services by reading scripture, the call to worship, and leading the congregation in prayer.
Acolytes - These fourth through sixth graders carry the flame (which represents the light of Christ) into each worship service and then light the altar candles. At the conclusion of worship, the acolytes extinguish the altar candles and carry the flame out of the Worship Center.
